Our Client is at the forefront of the current resource sector boom, providing Engineering Construction services to key mining companies. As a result of this, we currently require a suitably experienced and motivated Senior Safety Advisors to join our Engineering Construction team. Based on site and reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day to day activities required to construct gold processing facilities.

Working as part of a highly collaborative team, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Supervise the on-site safety team ensuring compliance with the company, Client & Legislative HSE requirements
2. Conducting and attending toolbox meetings
3. Drafting and presenting safety reports to the Project Manager and Client
4. Developing and implementing HSE risk management plans
5. Conducting incident investigations
6. Work as an integral member of the site management team to maintain our position at the forefront of the construction industry

To be successful in this role you will have:

1. Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior Safety role in the construction or other related industry
2. Heavy construction experience
3. Cert IV in Occupation Health and Safety or higher qualification
4. Commitment to providing excellent customer service
5. Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
6. HAVE A PASSION FOR SAFETY
7. Excellent Active English
8. A Degree from a Leading University
